SPECIALIST WICKET KEEPING COURSE 23.1.2025

WITH ISMAIL DAWOOD (EX Northants, Worcestershire and Glamorgan).
Easter Holiday course on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th April.

Ages 10-13 from 10.30 - 12.00 each day
Ages 14-15 from 1.30 - 3.00 each day

There is a maximum of 8 per course and the cost per person is �25

Yorkshire Part Company With Coach 22.1.2025

Prior to Christmas Wayne Clark was seen separately in Australia by Geoff Cope and Robin Smith. Discussions took place concerning the Club�s plans to re-organise the coaching structure, and in particular to create two new roles of batting coach and bowling coach, Wayne Clark being assigned to the latter. These proposals were not acceptable to Mr Clark. Negotiations are presently taking place through his solicitors.

The Board will consider the present state of negotiations at its meeting this Thursday.

Yorkshire's Young Guns Lead England U19s to Victory 16.1.2025

A partnership of 72 between Yorkshire's young fast bowlers Tim Bresnan and Nick Thornicroft for the last wicket in England's first Test Match v Australia proved crucial as the U19s set their hosts a target of 284.
The hosts started their second innings strongly but were soon in trouble at 76-3.
With victory in their sights England U19s completed the innings in only 44 overs as Australia fell just 14 runs short of their target.

Vaughan Set to Return in Final Match between England and Sri Lanka 16.1.2025

Yorkshire and England star batman Michael Vaughan is set to return for the final VB Series match between England and Sri Lanka starting tomorrow. The Match is a crucial one for both teams who are hoping to make the final v Australia. If England win Sri Lanka must beat Australia next Tuesday and also gain a bonus point to make the finals.
Vaughan who has recovered from a flare up of a knee-ailment is looking forward to playing in Adelaide, a ground at which he scored 177 in the Test Match.
