An agreement has been reached between Darren Gough and Yorkshire CCC regarding Darren's future with the club.
His first priority which the club totally supports is to prove his fitness for England, hopefully going on tour to Australia and also to the World Cup in South Africa.
Upon his return from these series Darren will be much clearer as to his future plans and further discussions will then take place.
Both Darren and Yorkshire are committed for the future as they have both clearly stated on numerous occassions. Everyone looks forward to Darren finishing his career with Yorkshire CCC.

Stand in Captain Richard Blakey is celebrating today after picking up two awards at last night's C & G Celebration Dinner. The dinner which the first to be held in the new East Stand Long Room at Headingley was a great success. The evening which included Brookside actor Vince Earl as the speaker culminated with four player awards. Michael Lumb was voted Young Player of the Year, Gary Fellows took the Coach's award whilst Richard Blakey was voted Player's Player of the year and also Club Player of the Year. The evening was held to celebrate both the winning of the C & G trophy and also the new start for the club.
