News Archive - December 2002Yorkshire Members Urged to Support New Rules 3.12.2024Yorkshire CCC Members were today urged to vote in favour of the new rules at the EGM to be held in the East Stand at Headingley this Saturday. 'A vote against this', said Yorkshire President Robin Smith 'will force the club into administration with a debt of around 6m'.
A vote in favour of the rules will enshrine the position of the new management board of four which has been in existence since August. The EGM starts at 11am in the East Stand Members Long Room at Headingley. Robin Smith added, ' I am confident that the membership will approve the new rules but if they do not the consequences will be dire'.
