Club NewsWhite Back to Full Fitness as England beat Border 7.2.2025Yorkshire all-rounder Craig White took 2-26 in England's World Cup warm-up match v Border at Buffalo Park. White who had been suffering with a side strain bowled 10 overs in the match which England won by 8 wickets. This is definately a positive for England with their opening match in the World Cup only days away.
Michael Vaughan made 29 runs in the England innings as they easily made the target of 203 for only 2 wickets. Dawson in Squad for Academy Tour to Sri Lanka 4.2.2025A 14-man squad for the ECB National Academy tour to Malaysia and Sri Lanka
was named today. The National Academy will play a single one-day match against Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur before undertaking a four and a half week tour of Sri Lanka, where they will play seven matches against Sri Lanka 'A', a Sri Lankan Academy XI and Sri Lanka U19 (itinerary below). The squad includes Ian Bell, who has recovered from a stress fracture in the lumbar spine, as well as Richard Dawson and Robert Key, who were members of the England Test team touring Australia recently.
