Fellows Shines in a Dull Day for Yorkshire 22/5/2025
Gary Fellows made 53 in another diasppointing day for Yorkshire's batsmen.

After winning the toss in his first match as Captain, Matthew Wood elected to bat first a decision which may prove costly as the match progresses.

Opening with Wood was Scott Richardson who lasted only a few minutes making 1. The others soon followed, Wood made 9, Yuvraj Singh on his debut for the County made only 11. Michael Lumb showed a brief glimmer of hope making 39 including 7 impressive 4s. Yorkshire at one stage were 85-5 until Fellows put on some much needed runs.

At the close Yorkshire were 190-9 with Ryan Sidebottom, 24 and Steve Kirby, 4 the men not out.
