Blakey and Bresnan are Top Men at Headingley 6/5/2025
Wicket-Keeper Batsman Richard Blakey and fast-bowler Tim Bresnan yesterday received the first two Man of the Match Awards for the club fpor the 2003 season.

Blakey was top man in the Yorkshire v Northants Frizzell County Championship Match at the end of last month scoring his highest ever score of 223 in the victory.

Tim Bresnan was chosen for his bowling figures of 3-29 in yesterday's NCL Match v Essex Eagles.

The awards are sponsored by Phillip Stoner Jewellery and are sets of unique 'Cricket Box' shaped gold and silver cufflinks.
