Yorkshire take the Upper Hand on Day 2 in Southampton 5/2/2025
After a poor start to the match v Hampshire Yorkshire battled back at Southampton and bowled the home side out for only 175. The wickets falling to Steve Kirby in for the injured Matthew Hoggard, Ryan Sidebottom and Richard Dawson. Captain McGrath and Chris Silverwood also chipped in with one a-piece.

The day had resumed with Lumb and Gough at the crease for Yorkshire putting on 115* and 72 respectively, before Gough was bowled out to ex-Yorkshire player Simon Katich.

Yorkshire started their second innings steadily and ended the day 23/0, 141 runs ahead.
