Glamorgan 238 for 8 beat Yorkshire 237 by one run at Colwyn Bay
Matthew Hoggard's comeback match ended in disappointment, as Glamorgan snuck to a thrilling last-ball victory at Colwyn Bay. Hoggard, who had earlier picked up two wickets and a catch in Glamorgan's total of 238 for 8, was left to score two runs from the final delivery of the match, but he was unable to pierce the field and his partner Darren Gough was run out going for the tie. Glamorgan's hero was Mike Kasprowicz, who held his nerve in that final over to finish with figures of 3 for 39. Earlier Michael Powell (61) and Jimmy Maher (53) both made half-centuries, with Steve Kirby coming in for some serious tap - he conceded 37 off four overs. Michael Lumb's superb 92 off 94 balls looked to have set up a victory for Yorkshire, but there was a twist in the tale.
