Three wickets apiece to Nottinghamshire bowlers Franks and MacGill saw Yorkshire again defeated in 3 days in the Frizzell County Championship for the second match in a row. Set 498 to win after Nottinghamshire declared on 269-8 in their second innings the task was always going to be difficult. Despite 44 from Captain Craig White and 40 from Richard Dawson no substantial partnerships were formed within the Yorkshire second innings and they were bowled out for 254 off 62 overs with a day to spare.
