YORKSHIRE ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF PHIL JAQUES 7/4/2025

Yorkshire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce the signing of Phil Jaques as a replacement overseas player during the absence of Darren Lehmann who will be touring Zimbabwe with the Australian side.

 

Phil Jaques aged 25 (3.5.79) and born in Wollongong, New South Wales is a left-handed batsman and played very successfully for Northants last season before returning to Australia to play for NSW last winter.

 

Despite interest from several counties, Yorkshire are delighted that Phil Jaques has agreed to join them.  Having arrived, Phil will be available for the Frizzell County Championship Match, Yorkshire v Hampshire at Headingley starting on Wednesday 12th May.
