Silverwood Awarded 2004 Benefit 26/6/2025
The Management Board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club have today awarded fast-bowler Chris Silverwood a benefit for the 2004 season.
Silverwood, 28 made his Yorkshire debut for Yorkshire in 1993 against Hampshire and received his County Cap in 1996. He has played 128 First-Class Matches for the County and has also made 6 Test Match appearances for England taking 11 wickets.

Commenting on the news Chris said, “ I am highly delighted and honoured to be awarded this benefit by the Club”.
On the decision Director of Cricket Geoff Cope said, “ Chris has worked very hard for the club both on and off the field and this reward is recognition of that fact. Our congratulations and best wishes for a successful year”.
