Somerset versus Yorkshire at Taunton

2) Matthew Wood’s 207 is the highest individual score for Yorkshire at Taunton. The previous best was 201 by Wilfred Rhodes in 1905. The highest for Yorkshire versus Somerset on any ground remains the 213 Herbert Sutcliffe scored at Dewsbury in 1924

3) Steven Kirby’s match analysis of 13 wickets for 154 runs and his second innings analysis of 8 wickets for 80 runs are both record performances for Yorkshire at Taunton. The previous best match analysis was 12 for 67 by George Hirst in 1912 and the previous best innings analysis was 7 for 16 by Bob Appleyard in 1954

4) 13 for 154 is the best match analysis for Yorkshire since Raymond Illingworth took 14 for 64 versus Gloucestershire at Harrogate in 1967 - a performance which clinched the Championship
