Northamptonshire versus Yorkshire at Northampton
1) Yorkshire have not won at the Wantage Road ground since 1984 - a run of ten matches
2) Mike Hussey and Phil Jaques added 189 for the Northamptonshire 2nd wicket - it is now the record for that wicket for Northamptonshire versus Yorkshire. The previous best was 139 by Wayne Larkins and David Steele at Harrogate in 1978
3) With his 222 Phil Jaques is the sixth Northamptonshire player to score a double century against Yorkshire - the others are Rob Bailey (200* at Luton in 1986), Geoff Gook (203 at Scarborough in 1988), Allan Fordham (206* at Leeds in 1990), Allan Lamb (235 at Leeds in 1990) and Mal Loye (205 at Northampton in 1996).
4) Among the other counties only Sussex players have scored six double-centuries against Yorkshire.
5) Michael Vaughan scored his fourth century versus Northamptonshire - only Herbert Sutcliffe, with five, has scored more. Vaughan joins Geoffrey Boycott, Percy Holmes, Leonard Hutton and Arthur Mitchell who each also made four.
6) Tim Bresnan made his debut in first-class cricket
