VAUGHAN HITS 10TH TEST TON AS ENGLAND SET UP SERIES FINALE IN COLOMBO 15/12/2024

England Captain and Yorkshire Batsman Michael Vaughan led from the front on the final day of the 2nd test against Sri Lanka in Kandy.  Set 368 to win a draw was England's most realistic target and with Vaughan in fine form scoring what was to be a match-saving 105 and his 10th test Century for England.  It wasn't all down to Vaughan though, the rest of the team played their part.  Chris Read and Gareth Batty kept the hosts at bay for the final 90 minutes scoring 18 and 25 repectively.

The draw, the 2nd of the series sets up an exciting final match in Colombo starting on Wednesday.
