YORKSHIRE'S MICHAEL VAUGHAN ANNOUNCED AS THE NEW ENGLAND TEST CAPTAIN 29/7/2025
Yorkshire's Michael Vaughan is to take over the Captaincy of the England Test Team following the resignation of Nasser Hussain. Vaughan who is already Captain of the One-Day team will Captain his first match this Thursday in the 2nd npower Test Match v South Africa at Lord's.
Hussain explained that he had 'grown tired' after 4 years as Captain and felt that the time was right to hand over to a man who has already shown himself to be a capable leader.
