Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Head Groundsman, Andy Fogarty has been awarded a commendation in the 1-day category of Groundsman of the Year Awards for 2003.

Over the last 4 years the groundstaff have re-laid 8 of the Headingley pitches and those that have come into play have received excellent markings.

The award to Andy is just reward for the hard work the groundstaff have put in to Headingley.
