HEADINGLEY CAR SHARE SCHEME

If you have no real alternative but to travel by car to Headingley then why not share that journey? Not only will you reduce your costs ( and then maybe buy that new team shirt! ) but you could also find parking easier and enjoy the company during the journey, or even the odd drink afterwards.

Headingley Stadium has set up a FREE car share scheme for everyone wishing to travel to the stadium by car.

What is car sharing?
Car sharing is when two or more people share a car and travel together. It allows people to benefit from the convenience of the car, whilst alleviating the associated problems of congestion and pollution.

How do I get involved?
We have set up a car share scheme as part of Liftshare.com, a national commercial car share network, which is fast and easy to use. To make use of the scheme simply follow these instructions:
Visit Liftshare.com by clicking here and follow the simple registration procedure. Registering is simple and FREE to all users. You will be asked to provide a few personal details (for security reasons) and will be sent a password by e-mail.
Once registered you should join the Headingley Stadium scheme. To do so you need to search the list of Public Groups by following the relevant links. By selecting “Add me to this group” you will be registered as a user of the Headingley car share scheme.
Once registered you will be able to search for anybody else wishing to travel to/from Headingley Stadium that you could share a lift with.
