Michael enjoyed an excellent season which now sees him a regular choice for Test cricket. Due to International call ups and an unfortunate injury sustained whilst compiling an unbeaten 155 against Derbyshire, Michael made only 9 Championship appearances, yet still scored the County's second highest aggregate with 697 runs at an average of 49.78. As with Gough and White, Michael's appearances with the Club are likely to be limited due to International commitments.
