Yorkshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Panaro as Commercial Director to lead the Club�s existing plans for the future development of Headingley and Yorkshire Cricket.

40-year-old Tony has an extensive background of sponsorship & event management with experience in Motor sport, Golf, Rugby and more recently with American sports.

Tony Panaro said, �The tradition & history surrounding Yorkshire Cricket along with the extensive plans for the future of Headingley convinced me to join the Club and I am looking forward to this exciting challenge. I was also suitably impressed by the vision and long term objectives outlined to me by the President Chairman and Chief Executive.�

Chief Executive Chris Hassell said, �With our �10 million first phase development plans and a new 999 year lease we really felt the need for an experienced professional capable of maximising current and future opportunities. We believe Tony�s proven track record will assist the club achieving those goals.�
