Yorkshire's Michael Lumb enters the BUPA Hospital at Roundhay tomorrow for a cartilage operation following injury at Scarborough on Sunday in Yorkshire Phoenix's defeat by the Leicestershire Foxes. This will rule him out for the remainder of the season but gives him all of the winter to make a full recovery.
