England blow Windies away in 2 days!

England have beaten the West Indies by an innings and 39 runs at Headingley in just 2 days. It has been the first time a Test Match in England has been won in 2 days since 1921.

The victory included some fine performances by the Yorkshire players. Craig White put in an excellent performance by taking 5 wickets in the first innings, with Gough claiming 7 wickets overall.

The Man of the Match award was given to Michael Vaughan who batted superbly scoring 76 runs. Andy Caddick destroyed the West Indies batting by taking 5 wickets in their second innings which included 4 wickets in 1 over.

England now lead the series 2-1 with the final game to be played at The Oval on the 31st August.
