Yorkshire CCC all-rounder Craig White today secured his
maiden Test Century for England in the second Test against
India in Ahmedabad. White's century included partnerships with wicket keeper
James Foster (40) which was a record 7th wicket stand for
England in India as the pair put on 105. White was also
supported by Yorkshire team mates Richard Dawson (9) and
Matthew Hoggard (4 not out) before he was eventually bowled
by Singh on 121. England ended their first innings 407 all out. Ends 12/12/01
